Ice fishing is one of the traditional national pastimes of the Savonian region. This trip takes you by snowmobile into a beautiful winter landscape and to the best fishing spots.
Upon arriving at the ice fishing location, you’ll have the chance to try your luck at ice fishing with tips from an experienced guide. Even if the fish aren’t biting, you won’t go hungry. During the fishing experience, we’ll enjoy warm drinks and light refreshments by an open campfire.

- The safari takes place on routes suitable for all participants, through Tahko’s snowy forest terrain, across the ice of Lake Syväri, and to a cozy break spot.
- Departure and return: Tahko Safarit Safari House (Nipasentie 2, Tahkovuori)
- The Safari House is located approximately 4 km from Tahko village center.

Please arrive at least 15–20 minutes before the activity starts.

- Minimum driver age is 15 years. Parental/guardian consent is required for drivers under 18.
- A valid driver’s license (at least a T license) is mandatory for snowmobiling.
- Minimum passenger height: 130–140 cm.

- When operating motor vehicles, the blood alcohol limit is zero.
- Cancellations due to alcohol use will be charged in full.
- The snowmobile driver must present a valid driver’s license.
- Minimum passenger height is 140 cm.
